Can anyone lay this down ?

I think this is the next level of my poker development.... laying down big pairs pre-flop. I'm thinking I should wait for a better spot, I knew he had AA. Does anyone lay this hand down ? Cas11 was the maniac on the table, flip was a solid player.

Nothing you can do. There is no possible way to lay this down...just ask Sammy Farha (did you see High Stakes Poker on GSN this week?). Except he caught a king on the flop.

For real - the odds of this happening are astronomical. In a cash game, there is just no way to get away from it...

I agree you should lay it down. It IS a cash game. There are unlimited hands to play afterwards. You are correct that this is a big step in developing yourself as a great and not good player. The rational that you could go through here is that you are not "dead" if he beats you. That is similar to touney strategy like take a shot and survive if you miss. I don't like this call at all as a pre-flop bet. 7 2 off suite would have killed you as well. Think about that a minute.
